Employability Skills

Tamar EBP has developed a wide range of activities that are designed to increase young people's employability skills through work-related learning.

The programmes are carefully chosen and developed to ensure that the group of skills which are essential to success in learning, life and work are included:

  • Independent enquirers
  • Creative thinkers
  • Reflective learners
  • Team workers
  • Self-managers
  • Effective participators

Activities can contribute to evidence towards awards such as the exciting, new, Open College Network Step-UP (Steps Towards Enabling Progression).  This is a qualification which aims to engage and motivate students by providing learning opportunities that are suited to the student's individual strengths, thereby encouraging progression to post-16 study and employment.

For information about activities, please see our current Employer Engagement Co-Ordinated Services booklet.
